TradeStation Launches Trading Webinar and Supports Education Initiatives During Financial Literacy Month

TradeStation Group, Inc. (“TradeStation”), parent company of TradeStation Securities, Inc., the brokerage firm built for active equity and derivatives traders, is marking April’s Financial Literacy Month with a series of initiatives designed to expand access to financial education – starting with a beginner-focused webinar and supported by student-focused donations across key U.S. markets. Known for empowering sophisticated traders with advanced technology, TradeStation extends that same dedication beyond its platform through year-round initiatives that give back to the communities where its employees live and work.

Trading 101 Webinar: A Beginner’s Guide to Markets

TradeStation will host a Trading 101 Webinar on April 16 at 6:00 pm ET, called “From Curious to Confident: A Beginner’s Guide to the Markets.” The session will be led by Jesus Nava, Director of Client Training and Education at TradeStation Securities, Inc., alongside Brandon Wendell, a Chartered Market Technician.

Designed for beginners, the webinar will cover foundational concepts, including ETFs, mutual funds, individual stocks, along with an introduction to futures and options. The session will also focus on the risk management principles and mindset needed to become a more thoughtful and disciplined trader. The registration link can be found here.

Junior Achievement Donations

TradeStation is also supporting student-focused financial literacy programs through a $10,000 donation to four Junior Achievement locations: South Florida, New York, Chicago, and Dallas, where each location receives $2,500.

Junior Achievement reaches more than 4.6 million students each year across nearly 100 U.S. markets, and its global operations serve a total of 12.5 million students in over 100 countries, providing education in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship, particularly in underserved communities.

In South Florida, New York and Chicago, the donations directly support the Stock Market Challenge, a multi-week simulated trading competition where high school students gain hands-on experience with market dynamics and investing strategies using virtual funds. At the end of the challenge, the team whose simulated stock portfolio achieves the highest net worth wins.

“Every born trader starts somewhere,” said Jessica Pione, Chief Human Resources Officer of TradeStation. “With this beginner webinar and our support for student financial literacy programs, we want to help ensure that anyone with the instinct to invest has access to the foundational knowledge that can set them up for long-term success. These efforts are especially meaningful because they’re driven by our employees, who are passionate about giving back and expanding access to financial education.”

These initiatives are led by TradeStation Cares, an employee-driven, diverse team that partners with a range of organizations and charities to support those in need. Throughout the year, members select causes that promote financial literacy, enrich lives, and strengthen the well-being of individuals and families in the communities where TradeStation operates.
